It's been a crazy 2020 worldwide and right here in the 757, hasn't it? I hope everyone has been well and are seeing better days ahead. Thankfully, I've been able to get back into family photo shoots in Hampton Roads. I'll be blogging a few photo sessions in the coming weeks and wanted to get started with showing you how adorable this session was, a Mommy and Me photo shoot in Norfolk.
This mama is a good friend of mine and a photographer (Kathryn Sutter Photography) herself. I have been overjoyed to watch her become a mama, through every bump in the road she and her husband put up a good fight to become parents. What a miracle little Blair is!
Mommy and Me sessions are offered year round and really something I encourage all mothers to invest in. As moms, we often times are the ones who are behind the camera taking photos of our kids but find ourselves rarely in the photos. Sometimes, even.. I think to myself how I will do photos "when I lose some weight" but in reality, my kids don't care what I look they. They don't care about the weight I've gained or the stress showing in my dark eye circles. Children are just so happy to spend time with their mamas and think that we are the most beautiful humans on the planet.
You know what? They're right. We are beautiful humans, even when we feel like we are barely able to hold ourselves together. It's a beautiful thing, this season of life. That's one of the many reasons I've chosen to become a Motherhood photographer in Hampton Roads, I want to make sure this season in our lives as mothers is concrete in time.
